Pang Ha Homestay Community

Chiangrai

“Ban Pang Ha” is a small community situated next to the Ruak River in Mae Sai, the northernmost district in Thailand. The river is actually a natural border between Myanmar and Thailand and is partially connected to Laos. This lovely community promises a wide range of fun activities to be enjoyed all day long, as well as various local practices unique to the area such as mulberry paper art and a golden silk spa experience. Get creative with some mulberry paper craftwork, which can be transformed into many different products. Visit Ban Tian to see how Lanna-style candles are made with bigger-than-usual candlewick and clay candle bowls. Ride a motorized tractor through natural wonders like the teak tunnel at the border of the commercial area. There’s also plenty of time to hang out the locals, as you taste their Tai Lue-style pizza, “khao soi noi” pancake, and rice and peanut cakes, a Tai Lue delicacy.
